Vonyx STM3025, comprehensive 4-channel mixer for many applications
The Vonyx STM3025 is a compact mixer that, despite its small size, features some very useful functions such as Bluetooth and a built-in USB MP3 player. The STM3025B is therefore very versatile and perfect for beginner DJs, (sports) canteens, pubs, etc. In terms of connectivity, the STM3025 has sufficient inputs, allowing it to function perfectly as a central unit in medium-sized audio systems. To top it all off, the STM3025B allows recording to a USB stick for making demos or other recordings.
Connectivity
You'll be well catered for with the STM3025B's connectivity. The mixer is equipped with 4 RCA (tulip) inputs for connecting external audio equipment. Two of these inputs can be switched between “Line” and “Phono,” allowing turntables without a built-in preamplifier to be connected to the mixer without any issues. The third channel can be switched between two line inputs, providing a total of four channels for connecting external audio equipment. Furthermore, it's possible to establish a wireless connection with a Bluetooth device, such as a phone or tablet. Once the connection is made, music played on the paired device will be wirelessly streamed to the mixer, allowing it to be used in the final mix. For vocals, presentations, or to energise your audience as a DJ, there are two microphone inputs with a talkover function. With this function, the music can be turned down at the press of a button, giving the microphone signal “priority.” Naturally, a headphone connection is included, allowing DJs to cue up the next track.
USB connection
Although the USB connection in fact fits under the ‘connectivity’ heading, it is worth mentioning separately. This connection offers two possibilities. Firstly, it is possible to play MP3 music directly from a USB stick. To do this, simply connect a USB stick with MP3 music to the USB connection, and the internal MP3 player will play the music directly from the USB stick. Another possibility is the ability to record. A complete DJ mix, a speech, or a vocal (demo) can easily be recorded onto the USB stick without the need for other recording equipment.
The STM3025B is an all-around mixer that can be used for many applications. The mixer is easy to use but offers all the necessary modern functions and capabilities.
