Description
General
The largest model in Allen & Heath's QU series, the QU-32 offers a substantial number of inputs. No fewer than 32 mono channels and 3 stereo channels, making a total of 38 outputs. Furthermore, there are a total of 28 output channels. These connections can be used directly on the QU-32 but can also be connected via a dSnake digital multicore cable.
Allen & Heath QU-32: Lots of channels yet still easy to oversee
A strong point of Allen & Heath is the clear layout of their mixers. With this QU-32 as well, you get a clear overview of the situation at a glance. It features 33 motorised ALPS faders, 32 for the channels and one for the master. These allow you to control the volume of individual channels as well as the volume of buses, auxiliaries, and FX sends and returns. At the top of the mixer, you'll find a clear channel strip that displays the relevant values for each selected channel.
Very complete mixer
With the Allen & Heath QU-32, you have access to a compressor, gate, EQ and a HiPass filter per channel. There is a graphic EQ on each output and there are 4 internal FX engines with a number of quality effects. You also have the option to multi-track your mix via the built-in USB port. With a special app, you can even control the QU-32 remotely via Wi-Fi. This is also very practical for monitor applications.
