The KLA-12 is an active speaker equipped with a 12-inch woofer. Together with the 1.75-inch compression driver, this provides a wide frequency range of 44Hz to 20kHz! The speaker is bi-amplified, with both the treble and bass receiving 500W continuous power. This large amount of power ensures considerable sound pressure: 128dB maximum!

QSC KLA-12: Power combined with power

The QSC KLA-12 is the epitome of power. With its woofer/driver combination, the KLA-12 128dB to produce. This can also be significantly expanded, the design of the KLA12 allows you to stack five KLA12s one above the other. This gives you a combined power of 5000 Watts, enough for a powerful sound! It is also very robustly built, so this loudspeaker can handle rental jobs too!

Line-array speaker with Guardrail protection system

We were already familiar with QSC’s own Guardrail system, and thankfully this is also built into the KLA-12. This line-array loudspeaker is therefore protected against almost all problems that amplifiers and active loudspeakers can encounter. Take overheating, for example: most amplifiers will completely shut themselves down. Not so with Guardrail; it adjusts its output level so that the danger is averted. You will therefore never be without sound!
