When used for video conferencing

The camera is ideal for video conferencing in smaller rooms, with groups of approximately 4 to 6 people. As mentioned, the camera is equipped with an auto-framing function. This means it automatically detects how many people are present within the recording frame. If you have 4 people, the image with 4 people is automatically captured. If 2 of them leave, it will automatically zoom in, so that only the 2 remaining people are in the frame. If 1 more leaves, the camera will automatically zoom in on the last remaining person. If 2 people return, it will automatically switch to a view showing all 3 people.

The built-in dual array microphone ensures that the other party will receive crystal clear audio without peaks and dips in the voice, unless you yourself introduce these peaks and dips. With a range of approximately 5 to 6 metres, you won't need anything else.

There are various software programmes that include PTZ Camera Control, allowing you to operate the camera from within the software rather than using a remote control. In some cases, you can also hand over control to someone present at the meeting, or even to the person you are meeting with, provided you are using the right programme. For instance, with Zoom.us, you can enable a feature called “Far End Camera Controls”, which allows you to give control to the party you are having the video conference with.

For use with online streaming
